ECF22 Presentation

Joe Wood from the IMPASTOW team recently presented at the 22nd European Conference on Fracture – ECF22: Loading and Environment Effects on Structural Integrity held in Belgrade, Serbia on 26-31 August 2018.

Title slide for presentation of Wood, J.D., Gauvin, C. , Young, C.R.T. , Taylor, A.C., Balint, D.S. and Charalambides, M.N. (2018) Cracking in paintings due to relative humidity cycles. 22nd European Conference on Fracture - ECF22: Loading and Environment Effects on Structural Integrity, Belgrade, Serbia, 26-31 August 2018

The talk covered some of the results of our work using finite element models to consider the effects of low-cycle fatigue induced through the relative humidity cycles typically seen in museums.
